The second release from 5 year old Poppy The Little Niece and Simon (22), recorded for my friend Christian as a birthday present. A synthesiser and a drum machine add psychedelic vigour in this collection of ditties, featuring guest vocals and synth performances from 2 year old Flo.
I told Poppy that Christian had a beard, glasses and liked films, so that's where all that stuff comes from. Also, Poppy sang most of this with a humbug tucked in her cheek, so that's why it sounds a bit funny.
The track title has no reference to Christian or his birthday, but that's what Poppy wanted to call it so hard cheese, Christian. I wonder who Margaret is? Maybe you could one day be friends.
